My name is Nicole Katopodis and as a little girl I have always loved looking at decorated cakes, from wedding cakes to novelty cakes and just your average chocolate cake. The creative colours, flavours and varied designs possible are limited only by one's imagination and I used to dream of one day making my own unique creations for everyone to enjoy.

I have now been decorating cakes for nearly 3 years, being taught by ladies who have decorated cakes for more than 25 years. I am the current president of the Darling Downs Cake Decorating Association and a member of the Queensland Cake Decorating Association.

I started my business with creating a wedding cake for a young lady from my husband's place of employment and due to word of mouth and the quality and individuality of my work, it has since grown to become the rewarding career I have today.

I not only make cakes but I also make truffles, chocolates, apple pies for weddings and special occasions.

I love what I do and enjoy designing beautiful, flavourful works of art suited specifically for each client and their desired themes, colour schemes and tastes. Most of all, I love seeing the end result of my work and hearing the thrilled thank yous from my delighted customers.
